About the trip
Tiger Track
Tiger Track is a world-class A-frame that peels both ways off a single peak: clean lefts and rights breaking away from the takeoff along the reef in front of the jungle. The peak stands up and splits, offering a left and a right off almost every set, so there is always an open shoulder and space to spread out.
We start you where it suits your level (the softer, forgiving shoulders either side of the peak) and progress towards the faster, more technical sections closer to the takeoff as your confidence grows. Surfers of all levels share the lineup easily, since the two directions naturally divide the crowd. It is a rare wave that genuinely works for every level, and you’ll leave surfing faster, more confident, and reading the ocean better than ever.
The wave works best in the dry season (April to October) on a solid southwest swell, with the morning offshores grooming clean, makeable lefts and rights. Between sessions it’s pure jungle: monkeys, reef, and nothing but the sound of the surf.

How the days flow
Morning
Wake to the smell of coffee and the offshore wind feathering the point. You paddle out into the cleanest waves of the day, guided straight to your side of the peak, left or right, wave after wave.
Midday
Refuel over a slow breakfast, then watch yourself surf back on screen. We break your session down clip by clip and lock in one or two simple focus points.
Afternoon
As the tide turns, you’re back out for round two, this time with the morning’s feedback firing. This is where the breakthroughs happen.
Evening
Golden light, cold drinks and good food as the jungle comes alive around camp. Relive every wave with the crew, then drift off early.

What level do I need for Tiger Track?
All levels. Because the peak splits in two directions there is always an open shoulder, so beginners find the softer, forgiving sections either side while stronger surfers work towards the faster part closer to the takeoff. Not sure where you sit? Tell us and we’ll place you honestly.
How long is the trip, and how many people come along?
From three nights, and from two guests. Groups stay small on purpose. You are guided personally, not moved through a camp programme.
What’s included?
Accommodation at Jawa Jiwa, transport from and back to Medewi, transport to the surf spots by boat and jeep, daily guided surf sessions, and drone video footage of your surfing. Water and tea are always free. Boards are available for an extra charge, and airport pickup can be arranged separately.
What about food?
You choose: all-inclusive, or breakfast-only if you would rather eat out. Tell us which you prefer when you enquire and we’ll set it up.
When is the best time to surf Tiger Track, and what does it cost?
