Welcome to DISINI Surf House
We’re a small surf crew on the quiet west coast of Bali, in Yeh Sumbul near Medewi, far from the crowds of the south. Our surf school and guided surf trips are open and running every day, and our Surf House opens its doors in summer 2026.
Disini isn’t a place you just pass through. It’s a place that feels like home: switch off the noise, slow down, and finally make the kind of progress in your surfing you can actually feel, whether you’re standing up for the very first time or chasing your next clean wave.

Why Disini
The Story
Disini was born here in Yeh Sumbul, on the quiet stretch of coast we fell in love with. We never wanted just another surf camp. We wanted a place that feels like home, where you surf with people who actually live this coast.
That shapes everything we do: personal, local and real. Good waves, genuine connection and progress you can actually feel.
What makes us different
- Coaches who live here. They learn your name and your goals, and film your surfing as an optional extra so you can see the change.
- Progress you can feel. Never more than two of you with one coach, so you leave surfing better than you arrived.
- One coast, all year. The people guiding you aren’t seasonal staff. This is their home break.
- A line-up away from the crowds. Raw nature, real village life and waves you don’t have to fight for.
What we’re not
- Not a party hostel. We love a good evening, but the best waves come early.
- Not a luxury resort. Comfortable and relaxed, never stiff.
- Not a faceless surf factory. If you want anonymous, we’re probably not your place.
Meet your surfcoach
Daffa
Daffa grew up in Yeh Sumbul and has been surfing since he was just 10 years old. Competing since 15, always for the fun of it, and just as at home on a shortboard or twin fin as on a longboard. Four years of coaching experience at a well-known surf camp, freelancing around Bali and working in Canggu.
There’s nothing he loves more than sharing his home break and passing on his local knowledge, whatever your level, from your very first wave to competition coaching. One session with Daffa and you’ll see your surfing (and your stoke) grow.

I did a girls surf trip to Java with these guys. I cannot fault them. Everything was organised and professional and we got epic waves. I have also done a 1:1 coaching session with Daffa when I felt a little intimidated by the wave size. Daffa always had me in the right position and made sure I felt safe and happy, and gave me the confidence to go on waves I would usually pull back on. I literally got the best waves that day.
