DISINI Surfhouse · Yeh Sumbul, West Bali
About Us
Disini means simply: here. And “here” is the whole idea.
Welcome
Welcome to Disini Surfhouse
We’re a small surf crew on the quiet west coast of Bali, in Yeh Sumbul near Medewi — far from the crowds of the south. Our surf school and guided surf trips are open and running every day, and our Surf House opens its doors in summer 2026.
Disini isn’t a place you just pass through. It’s a place that feels like home: switch off the noise, slow down, and finally make the kind of progress in your surfing you can actually feel — whether you’re standing up for the very first time or chasing your next clean wave.

Why we do this
The things we genuinely care about
Passion for Surfing
We live and surf this coast every single day. That love for the ocean is the spark behind everything we do at Disini.
Community & Connection
Strangers paddle out, friends paddle back in. We keep groups small so real connections have room to grow — here, you’re never just a booking.
Sustainability & Respect
The ocean, the village and the culture of West Bali come first. We tread lightly so this coast stays as raw and beautiful as we found it.
Progression & Fun
Daily video feedback and honest coaching that actually moves your surfing forward — and yes, it should be fun every step of the way.
Quality Over Everything
Easy-going, never pretentious. Good waves, honest food, genuine people — if it doesn’t feel real, it’s not us.
“Disini is for everybody. Right now that means our surf school and guided trips, led by people who actually live and surf this coast. And it’s only the beginning — the Surf House opens in summer 2026, so you’ll be able to surf, reset and recharge all in one place. Disini means here — and here is exactly where your next chapter starts. The lineup is waiting.”
— Daffa, Head Surf Coach at Disini
Professional coaching for every level — kids, beginners and competitors.
Why Disini
The Story
Disini was born here in Yeh Sumbul, on the quiet stretch of coast we fell in love with — the waves, the raw nature and the slow, honest rhythm of West Bali. We never wanted to build just another surf camp. We wanted a place that feels like home: where you can switch off the noise, surf with people who actually live and breathe this coast, and let the days stretch out the way they should.
That feeling shapes everything we do. We keep things personal, local and real — good waves, genuine connection and the kind of progress you can actually feel.
What makes us different
- Coaches who actually live here. They learn your name, your goals and what you’re working on — then film it, so you can see the change yourself.
- Progress you can feel. Small groups and daily video feedback, so you leave surfing better than you arrived — not just with a tan.
- One coast, all year. The people guiding you aren’t seasonal staff — this is their home break, every single day.
- A line-up away from the crowds. West Bali at heart — raw nature, real village life and waves you don’t have to fight for.
What we’re not
- Not a party hostel. We love a good evening — but the best waves come early.
- Not a luxury resort. Comfortable and relaxed, never stiff or pretentious.
- Not a faceless surf factory. If you want anonymous, we’re probably not your place — and that’s okay.

Meet your surfcoach
Daffa
Daffa grew up in Yeh Sumbul and has been surfing since he was just 10 years old. Competing since 15 — always for the fun of it — and just as at home on a shortboard or twin fin as on a longboard. Four years of coaching experience at a well-known surf camp, freelancing around Bali and working in Canggu.
There’s nothing he loves more than sharing his home break and passing on his local knowledge — whatever your level, from your very first wave to competition coaching. One session with Daffa and you’ll see your surfing — and your stoke — grow.
